Many have fishing as a lively hobby. Catching fish is an art and some go to the nearby places where they could sit in a pond or a river and catch fish. One should be really very patient to catch fish. Sometimes it takes a lot of time to catch fish. You have to sit patiently with the fishing rod in hand. People who pass by will think this person is really crazy sitting hours together with a fishing rod in hand. They attach some prey for the fish beside the hook and sit until the fish gets caught. Once gets caught in the hook they roll the string and the fish comes up attached to the hook.

The fishing rods come up in different varieties. In some the string has to be rolled by rolling a wheel which winds the string. Some are motorized and with a press of a button the string gets rolled. Some fishing rods have a detector which bleeps when the fish is caught in the hook. Some have timers attached to them so when the timer beeps you can start rolling the string. You should find a good place to sit and catch fish so you can be comfortable. This will make catching flounder easy and fun.

But if you find that you need to be able to catch a lot of fish at one time, you should use a fishing net. This will be the most beneficial way to get the most flounder at once when you find a great area to fish in.

There is also a certain way you work the fishing net for the best results. A fishing net is laid down in the sand deep in the sea and the fishermen hold it sitting in three or four boats. They will wait for one or two hours, when many fishes accumulate inside the net they close the net and the fishes get caught in the net. Then these fisher folks distribute their catch among themselves.

These are all professionals who have taken fishing as their full time careers and there are a lot of things you can learn from them. People taking fishing as their hobby go for fishing for fun to catch different varieties of fish but this doesn't mean you can't learn from the pros so your job is easier as well. Some may have an aquarium in the house and others like to taste different fish. Some people fish for sport and then catch and release.
